A new month, means a fresh batch of new shows and movies coming to HBO Max in August 2025, including the return of Peacemaker. This season, Peacemaker discovers an alternate world where life is everything he wishes it could be. Instead of being thrilled, it forces him to face his traumatic past and take the future into his own hands. Other series, debuting this month is a new season of Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Buffalo Bills and the limited docuseries, The Yogurt Shop Murders, about four teenagers murdered in Austin, TX in 1991.
In addition, get your popcorn ready as films from Warner Bros, A24 and Lionsgate will stream this month. First, safe-guard yourself as Final Destination: Bloodlines makes its streaming debut. In the film, a girl must break the cycle of accidents so her family can survive. Next, A24’s The Legend of Ochi is about a girl who does whatever it takes to bring a wounded baby ochi home. Finally, take a trip back to 1989 with Freaky Tales where an NBA star, a corrupt cop, a female rap duo, teen punks, neo-Nazis and a debt collector are on a collision course.
