The fall movie season is here and there is a diverse lineup of movies hitting theaters. Although it’s the month of scary movies, there are a few contenders for the Academy Awards.
The most anticipated movie releasing this month is Joker: Folie À Deux. Joaquin Phoeniz stars once again in his Oscar-winning role as Arther Fleck, aka Joker. While trying to find the music within him, he stumbles upon his true loves played by Oscar winner Lady Gaga. From what we can see, we will be in for one hell of a ride.
Of course with it being Halloween, there are plenty of films to keep you looking over your shoulder. First, witness the final chapter of the Venom trilogy with Venom: The Last Dance. Then, in the chilling sequel Smile 2, the dark past of a pop sensation is explored. Finally, horror fans can expect more twisted scare from Art the Clown.
Additionally, there are some intriguing limited releases like The Apprentice, Conclave and Saturday Night. These are just a few of the movies coming to theaters this year. See below for the complete list of new movies in theaters in October.
